Wine Study (WSET) is the most detailed, comprehensive wine knowledge program out there and I studied 3 levels, obtaining Level 2 status. I had the opportunity to learn from top wine educators and Sommeliers from Grape Experience, at the Boston Center for Adult Education.

​

The wine world is vast, understanding how to read a wine label along with learning varietals, producers, vineyard locations, climate, and culture has influenced my time in the kitchen & beyond. Using my wine knowledge to help pair some incredible wines may help elevate any experience or event. Let's talk wine, Cheers!

Healdsburg, California is one of the best areas in the world for vineyards. Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley and the Russian River Valley produce some of the best Pinot Noirs, Old-Vine Zinfandel and Chardonnay.  Its rolling hills, and cool climate consisting of wet cool winters, warm to hot dry summers, bring the perfect balance for growing these grapes.

A. Rafanelli is a beautiful boutique vineyard, their tastings are by appointment only and so worth the trip, while in Napa area. We were so fortunate to visit a few times.
